The Eichholz Law Firm Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients

SAVANNAH, GA (June 17, 2024) – The Eichholz Law Firm is proud to announce the two recipients of its 2024 scholarship program: Kyra Bradshaw and Arlie Dipolito.

At a reception last week at The Eichholz Law Firm’s Savannah office, Kyra Bradshaw, a recent graduate of Woodville Tompkins Technical & Career High School, was awarded the firm’s 2024 Scholarship for High School Seniors. This $2,500 scholarship recognizes a local high school senior who has demonstrated a commitment to community service. As a senior, Bradshaw completed the Healthcare Sciences pathway, obtaining a certified nursing assistant license, all while working at a local clinic to gain hands-on experience and maintaining a 3.75 GPA. She was part of the Student Leadership Program, the National Beta Club, the National Honor Society, the National Honor Society of High School Scholars, the AYB Youth & Young Adult Choir and the Savannah Youth Ambassadors. Bradshaw will attend Georgia Southern University to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

The recipient of the firm’s $2,500 Scholarship for Adults Returning to School was Arlie Dipolito. After an unexpected, inspiring conversation with a defense attorney, Dipolito was offered an internship and went on to be the attorney’s legal assistant. She then joined a personal injury law firm and has recently completed her associate degree in paralegal studies and interdisciplinary studies. Dipolito plans to pursue her bachelor’s degree at South University, then ultimately attend law school and become an attorney. She is driven by an unyielding drive and passion for justice.

This year, The Eichholz Law Firm was delighted to receive many impressive applications for its scholarships, and the firm’s scholarship review committee was moved to recognize a runner up for its annual Scholarship for High School Seniors. Heitor Guedes was selected to receive a $500 gift card. His passion for healthcare and dedication to pursuing a career in medicine has been significantly shaped by his involvement in extracurricular activities and community service. Guedes has worked with organizations like HOSA, the Memorial Volunteen Program and the Richmond Hill Marching Wildcat Band.

Firm owner David Eichholz expressed his excitement for the selected students and their academic plans: “Each year, we strive to award our annual scholarships to students who are well-rounded and committed to community service. For 2024, we are honored to support the academic journeys of Kyra, Arlie and Heitor, and are confident that they will make a powerful impact as they realize their inspiring career goals.”

The Eichholz Law Firm invited eligible students to apply for the 2024 scholarship program this spring. Students were asked to submit a short application and essay for review. An internal committee carefully reviewed the applications to select the recipients. The scholarships were presented during a brief reception at The Eichholz Law Firm’s office on June 13, 2024.
